Free Technology For Teachers Has Hice Things To Say About Empressr

I like when I see a review that the reviewer spent some time with the product and provides a though opinion. Mr. Byrne does a great job with this review, Thanks

The web based element of Empressr is very useful for students that need to make visual aids for presentations, but do not have a computer of their own to use all the time. Students can work on their presentations from any computer connected to the Internet.

Nicholas Carr on Cloud Computing

Is this the beginning of the mainstream use of the cloud as a place beyond finding your news, friends or entertainment? Whenever I read such a basic description of a technology in layman’s terms, mainstream is not far off. This excites me and we will be there for the masses with the best visual story telling tool in the cloud.

Mashable covers a bunch of presentation engines

Nice informative post from our friends at Mashable of which companies are producing web apps for presenting content on the web. It’s not dissimilar to other posts, even one they did a few months ago, what I would like to see is a creation challenge, take a bunch of assets; video, audio, images, tables of data, chart data, some words and maybe some animation and create something in each tool! Then report on the experience, really give us some feedback. I know it’s not easy, it will take some time, but I think the valuable data would justify the investment.
